Steak:

  • 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

Cowboy Butter:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 8 slider buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • pickles and sliced red onions for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Grill: Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare Cowboy Butter: Mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper to make cowboy butter.
  3. Cook Steak: Season steak slices with salt and pepper. Grill or sear steak slices for 2–3 minutes per side. Toss steak with half of the cowboy butter.
  4. Toast Buns: Toast slider buns lightly on the grill or skillet.
  5. Assemble Sliders: Place steak slices on the bottom bun, add cheddar cheese, pickles or red onions if desired. Spread remaining cowboy butter on the top bun and close the sliders.
