Ingredients

Puff Pastry:

1 sheet puff pastry

Cream Cheese Filling:

4 ounces cream cheese, softened, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sugared Cranberries:

1 cup fresh cranberries, 1/2 cup water, 1 cup sugar (divided)

Butter Glaze:

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Egg Wash:

1 egg, 1 tablespoon water


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Cranberries: Simmer 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup sugar. Coat cranberries and let dry.
  3. Make Cream Cheese Filling: Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Assemble Danishes: Roll out puff pastry, cut into squares, fill with cream cheese, fold, and brush with egg wash.
  5. Bake: Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
