12 oz spaghetti

Olive Oil Mixture:

1 tbsp olive oil

Meat Sauce:

1 lb ground beef, 1 small yellow onion (diced), 3 cloves garlic (minced), 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce, ½ tsp Italian seasoning, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper

Cream Cheese Mixture:

8 oz cream cheese (softened), ¼ cup sour cream, ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  3. Prepare Meat Sauce: Brown ground beef in a skillet, add onion and garlic, then stir in marinara sauce and seasonings. Simmer and set aside.

  5. Assemble Casserole: Layer meat sauce, cream cheese-coated spaghetti, and remaining meat sauce in the baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or Italian sausage for the ground beef.
  • For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
