- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch or 2-quart baking dish.
- Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine the whole kernel corn, creamed corn, sour cream, melted butter, corn muffin mix, eggs, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
- Bake: Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are golden brown.
- Cool and serve: Let the casserole cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
