- 2 tablespoons orange zest (about 2 oranges)
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice until well combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in white chocolate chips: Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 9–11 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool: Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For even more orange flavor, add ¼ teaspoon orange extract.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- These cookies also freeze well for longer storage.
