Instructions

  2. Cook the Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Sauté the chopped onion for 2-3 minutes until it becomes soft and translucent. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Toast the Spices: Stir in garam masala, ground cumin, turmeric, chili powder, cinnamon, and coriander into the pan. Toast the spices with the aromatics for about 1 minute, enhancing their flavors.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet with the spices and aromatics. Let the mixture simmer gently for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add Cream & Yogurt: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and plain Greek yogurt until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
