For the Dumplings:

- 3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter (cubed)
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: In a large pot, melt butter and olive oil. Sauté onion, carrots, and celery. Add garlic, chicken, broth, thyme, parsley, pepper, and salt. Simmer until chicken is cooked. Shred chicken and return to pot. Add peas and heavy cream.
- Make the Dumplings: Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk. Drop spoonfuls onto simmering soup. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
