Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped and drained
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Additional:

  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta per package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in olive oil until cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Make Sauce: Sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Add chicken broth, then cream and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Combine: Slice chicken, add to sauce with cooked pasta. Toss to coat and simmer briefly. Garnish and serve.
