For the Chicken:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For Serving:

  • 12 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta, cooked and drained
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet, season chicken, cook until browned. Set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, pour in broth and cream, simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and cook until creamy.
  3. Combine: Return chicken to the skillet, add cooked pasta, toss to combine. Simmer briefly. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
