  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup chopped jarred pepperoncini peppers
  • 2 tablespoons juice from the pepperoncini jar
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For Garnish:

  • Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 1 minute. Stir in the pepperoncini peppers and cook for another minute. Add chicken broth and pepperoncini juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and let the sauce thicken slightly, about 3–5 minutes.
  4. Combine and Simmer: Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes to heat through.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
