- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes

- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 cups baby spinach
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove excess grease if needed.
- Sauté Aromatics: Add diced onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Make the Sauce: Add diced tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer.
- Cook the Tortellini: Stir in tortellini and cook until tender. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
