Description

Golden and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, these homemade Crispy Potato Wedges are seasoned to perfection with a blend of herbs and spices. Baked to a delicious finish, they make a fantastic side dish or snack.

Potato Wedges:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Potatoes: Soak potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry. Toss with olive oil and seasonings until coated.
  3. Bake: Arrange wedges on the baking sheet, bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  4. Finish: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley if desired. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

  • Soaking the potatoes helps achieve extra crispiness.
