- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (6 oz) can frozen lemonade concentrate (thawed)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tablespoon water (if using cornstarch)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken in slow cooker: Put chicken breasts in the bottom of a greased slow cooker.
- Mix lemonade sauce: In a bowl, combine lemonade concentrate, brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over chicken.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Thicken sauce (optional): Mix cornstarch and water, add to slow cooker during last 15–20 minutes of cooking.
- Shred chicken and serve: Shred or slice chicken, spoon sauce over the top. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
