  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Garnish:

  • fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Optionally, sear the chicken in olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, combine chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, oregano, thyme, and sun-dried tomatoes. Pour over the chicken in the crock pot and top with butter.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours until chicken is tender. Stir sauce before serving.
  4. Serve: Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
