Potatoes:

  • 3 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

Garlic and Butter Mixture:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream, warmed
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh chives or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients to Crockpot: Add the potatoes, minced garlic, chicken broth, and half of the butter to the crockpot.
  2. Cook: Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours until the potatoes are tender.
  3. Mash Potatoes: Drain any excess liquid if needed. Mash the potatoes and garlic until smooth.
  4. Add Cream and Butter: Stir in the warmed milk or cream and remaining butter until fluffy.
  5. Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh chives or parsley before serving.
