Kielbasa Layer:
- 1 lb kielbasa sausage (sliced into 1/2-inch rounds)

Cream Sauce:
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Sauté Onions: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion in butter until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.
- Prepare Cream Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Layer Ingredients: Grease the crockpot, then layer pierogies, kielbasa, onions, cheese, and cream sauce. Repeat layers.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until heated through.
- Serve: Stir gently before serving and garnish with parsley or green onions.
