Description

This Cucumber Agua Fresca is a refreshing Mexican-inspired beverage perfect for hot summer days. Made with fresh cucumbers, lime juice, and a touch of sweetness, it’s a healthy and hydrating drink that’s easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 2 large cucumbers, peeled and chopped
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 24 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • ice cubes for serving
  • lime wedges and cucumber slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped cucumbers, cold water, lime juice, honey or agave syrup, and salt to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp if desired. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with lime wedges and cucumber slices.

Notes

  • Add fresh mint leaves for a refreshing twist.
  • Swap honey for simple syrup if preferred.
