Description

These Delightful Savory Reuben Crescent Rolls are a perfect appetizer for any occasion. Filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing, these rolls are baked to golden perfection and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Crescent Roll Dough:

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Corned Beef Filling:

  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced corned beef

Sauerkraut:

  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut (drained and patted dry)

Swiss Cheese:

  • 4 slices Swiss cheese (cut in half)

Thousand Island Dressing:

  • 2 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing

Caraway Seeds (optional):

  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds

Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Spread a small amount of Thousand Island dressing on each triangle.
  3. Assemble Rolls: Layer each triangle with a slice of corned beef, sauerkraut, and half a slice of Swiss cheese. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and tuck in the filling as needed.
  4. Bake: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with caraway seeds if desired. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve: Let the rolls cool for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Be sure to drain and pat the sauerkraut dry to prevent soggy rolls.
  • These rolls pair well with extra Thousand Island dressing or mustard for dipping.
