Dragon Sauce is a versatile and flavorful Asian-inspired sauce that adds a spicy kick to any dish. Made with a combination of soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and fresh ginger, this sauce is perfect for dipping, drizzling, or marinating.

Main Sauce:
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sriracha or other chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
Optional Thickening:
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Main Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, sriracha, ginger, garlic, and lime juice until well combined.
- Thickening (optional): Pour the mixture into a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Use immediately as a dipping sauce, drizzle over rice bowls, or as a marinade for meats, tofu, or vegetables. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sriracha to your preferred heat level.
