Rice Krispie Eggs:
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 package (10 ounces) mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Pastel candy-coated chocolates or mini eggs (optional, for filling)
- Nonstick cooking spray or butter for greasing
- Plastic Easter egg molds or clean plastic eggs
Instructions
- Melt Marshmallows: In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Color and Mix: Divide the mixture into separate bowls based on the number of colors desired. Add food coloring to each bowl and mix. Stir in Rice Krispies cereal until coated.
- Shape Eggs: Grease egg molds, press mixture into each half, add candies if desired, and press halves together. Let set before removing from molds.

- You can make these ahead and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- To avoid sticking, lightly butter your hands before shaping.
