  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup water

Garnish:

  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: Heat oil in a skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and ginger. Add spices and cook. Add chicken and brown. Stir in tomato paste and water, then simmer.
  2. Finish the Dish: Add butter and cream, simmer until chicken is tender. Garnish with cilantro.
