Sauce:
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup water
Garnish:
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce: Heat oil in a skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and ginger. Add spices and cook. Add chicken and brown. Stir in tomato paste and water, then simmer.
- Finish the Dish: Add butter and cream, simmer until chicken is tender. Garnish with cilantro.
