Fettuccine Alfredo:

Chicken:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips or bite-sized pieces)

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, optional
Garnish:
- Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the Fettuccine: Boil the fettuccine pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Cook the Chicken: Season and cook chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter, then add cream, Parmesan, and nutmeg. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine and Serve: Return chicken to the pan, add pasta, and toss in the sauce. Add pasta water if needed. Garnish with parsley and serve.
