  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
  2. Sauté Onion: Add chopped onion to the skillet with bacon drippings. Sauté until softened, then add garlic.
  3. Cook Cabbage: Add cabbage, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until tender and slightly caramelized.
  4. Finish: Return bacon to the pan, add apple cider vinegar if desired, and cook briefly to blend flavors. Serve warm, garnished with parsley.
