Dry Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

- 2 cups buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease/flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Add wet ingredients: Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk. Gently mix until just combined.
- Transfer and bake: Transfer the dough to the pan, smooth the top, and cut a cross on the dough. Bake for 40-45 minutes until firm.
- Cool and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
