Cinnamon Buns:

- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round or square baking dish.
- Prepare the sticky mixture: Melt butter with brown sugar, corn syrup (or maple syrup), cinnamon, and salt until smooth and bubbling.
- Assemble the buns: Pour the sticky mixture into the baking dish, add chopped pecans, then place cinnamon rolls on top.
- Bake: Bake for 25–28 minutes until golden brown.
- Finish and serve: Invert the pan onto a plate, drizzle with icing, and serve warm.
