Indulge in the ultimate cheesy and garlicky delight with this Epic Stuffed Garlic Bread recipe. Perfect for parties or as a savory snack, this pull-apart bread is oozing with a flavorful blend of cheeses and aromatic herbs, encased in a crispy crust.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 large loaf of French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the bread: Cut the loaf of bread into 1-inch slices without slicing all the way through.
  3. Make the garlic butter: Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spread the garlic butter: Gently spread the mixture between each slice of bread.
  5. Stuff with cheese: Fill each slit with mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Bake the bread: Wrap the loaf in foil, bake for 15 mins, then unwrap and bake for 8–10 mins until golden.
  7. Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can swap cheddar with provolone for a different taste.
  • For a meatier option, add cooked crumbled sausage or pepperoni between the slices.
