Dough:

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Color the Dough: Divide the dough into three portions and color one red, one blue, and leave one plain.
- Chill and Shape: Chill the dough for 20–30 minutes if needed, then roll into 1-inch balls and press into sprinkles.
- Bake: Place on baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool and Enjoy: Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
