Cake:

- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Ganache Frosting:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
- Melt chocolate and butter: In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat until smooth. Stir in sugar, salt, and vanilla. Let cool slightly, then whisk in eggs one at a time. Fold in almond flour and cocoa powder.
- Bake the cake: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25–30 minutes until set. Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
- Make the ganache: Heat cream until simmering, then pour over chocolate and butter. Stir until smooth. Let cool to spreading consistency.
- Frost the cake: Spread ganache over the cooled cake. Allow to set before serving.
