Fresh Herb Blend:
- 2 cups raw apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh lavender flowers or leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped
Additional Ingredients:
- 4 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon cloves (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Herb Infusion: Lightly bruise or chop the fresh herbs. Place rosemary, sage, lavender, thyme, garlic, peppercorns, and cloves (if using) in a quart-sized glass jar.
- Add Vinegar: Pour raw apple cider vinegar over the herbs until fully submerged.
- Infuse: Seal the jar with a non-metallic lid and store in a cool, dark place for 2 to 4 weeks, shaking gently every few days.
- Strain and Store: After steeping, strain the vinegar through cheesecloth into a clean bottle. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
