For the Onion Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare the Meatballs: Mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs and sear in a skillet.
