Marinade:

  • lbs sirloin or flank steak (cut into 1½-inch cubes)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Additional:

  • Metal or soaked wooden skewers
  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, black pepper, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and salt.
  2. Marinate Beef: Add the beef cubes to the marinade, toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours.
  3. Grill Skewers: Preheat grill to medium-high. Thread beef onto skewers. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side, about 8–10 minutes total, until charred and cooked. Rest before serving. Garnish if desired.
