For the Garlic Bread Taco Bites:
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- Sour cream, salsa, and sliced jalapeños for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- Sauté Garlic: Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Set aside.
- Cook Meat: Brown ground meat in a skillet over medium heat, drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- Prepare Dough Cups: Separate biscuit dough, cut in half. Flatten and press into muffin cups. Brush with garlic oil.
- Fill and Bake: Fill each dough cup with taco meat, top with cheeses. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve: Top with cilantro and optional sour cream, salsa, or jalapeños before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, substitute the meat with black beans or crumbled tofu.
