Description

These Garlic Bread Taco Bites are a delicious fusion of garlic bread and taco flavors in mini muffin form, perfect for parties or as a fun snack. Biscuit dough cups filled with seasoned meat, cheese, and topped with cilantro, they are a savory treat that will disappear quickly!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Bread Taco Bites:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • Sour cream, salsa, and sliced jalapeños for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Set aside.
  3. Cook Meat: Brown ground meat in a skillet over medium heat, drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Prepare Dough Cups: Separate biscuit dough, cut in half. Flatten and press into muffin cups. Brush with garlic oil.
  5. Fill and Bake: Fill each dough cup with taco meat, top with cheeses. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Top with cilantro and optional sour cream, salsa, or jalapeños before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute the meat with black beans or crumbled tofu.
  • These bites are great for parties and reheat well in a toaster oven.
