Description

These Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Rollups are a fun twist on classic burgers, featuring savory beef, gooey cheddar cheese, and a buttery garlic finish, all rolled up in flaky dough. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a party appetizer!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Beef Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Rollups:

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess grease, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix in cheddar cheese.
  3. Prepare the Rollups: Unroll dough, cut into 8 pieces. Spoon beef mixture onto each piece, roll up, and seal edges. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Mix melted butter with garlic, brush over rollups. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Great for kids or parties, can be made ahead and reheated.
  • Customize with pickles, jalapeños, or bacon bits for added flavor.
  • Crescent dough for a flakier texture, pizza dough for chewier results.
