  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken: On both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, cook briefly. Add broth, lemon juice, Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Finish the dish: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it. Simmer for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
