- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken: On both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, cook briefly. Add broth, lemon juice, Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Finish the dish: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it. Simmer for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.

- This recipe works well with either chicken breasts or thighs.
