  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Herb Potatoes:

  • 1 ½ pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak Bites: Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the halved baby potatoes until golden brown and tender. Season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  2. Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter. Sear steak bites until browned. Add garlic, butter, and red pepper flakes. Combine with potatoes and parsley before serving.
