Ingredients

Scale

Noodles:

  • 8 ounces rice noodles or lo mein noodles

Steak:

  • 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro and lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Prepare the noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.

  3. Sear the steak: In a skillet, sear the steak until browned and cooked through. Set aside.

  5. Finish and serve: Drizzle with sesame oil, add green onions and red pepper flakes, mix well, and garnish with cilantro and lime.
