Lasagna:
- 9 lasagna noodles
Chicken Mixture:
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Additional:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Noodles: Cook lasagna noodles al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: In a skillet, sauté garlic in butter and oil. Add flour, then gradually whisk in milk and cream. Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread sauce in baking dish, layer noodles, chicken, sauce, and mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake: Cover and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Rest for 10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
