Lasagna:

  • 9 lasagna noodles

Chicken Mixture:

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken breast

Parmesan Cream Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Additional:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Noodles: Cook lasagna noodles al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In a skillet, sauté garlic in butter and oil. Add flour, then gradually whisk in milk and cream. Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer Ingredients: Spread sauce in baking dish, layer noodles, chicken, sauce, and mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with sauce and mozzarella.
  5. Bake: Cover and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
  6. Serve: Rest for 10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
