For the Garlic Sauce:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Melt Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add Flour: Stir in flour and cook for another minute to form a roux.
- Whisk in Milk: Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
- Add Seasonings and Cheese: Add salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from heat, cool slightly, then drizzle over pizza or use as a dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a thinner sauce, add more milk.
