Pasta and Sauce:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Pasta: Cook elbow macaroni until al dente, then drain.
  3. Prepare Beef Mixture: Brown ground beef and onion, add garlic, then stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
  4. Combine and Bake: Mix in cooked pasta, transfer to baking dish, top with cheddar cheese, and bake until bubbly and golden.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
