Chicken Patties:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For Serving:

  • 4 burger buns or pita pockets
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Tomato slices
  • Red onion rings
  • Lettuce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Patties: In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, red onion, garlic, feta, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. Assemble the Burgers: Toast buns or warm pita. Fill with a patty, tzatziki, cucumber, tomato, onion, and lettuce. Serve.
