Main Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground lamb
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Additional Ingredients:
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce
- 1 cup baby spinach or arugula
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- Sliced red onion and tomato for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, red onion, parsley, mint, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Toast burger buns. Assemble by spreading tzatziki on buns, adding spinach, lamb patty, cucumber, feta, onion, and tomato.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve with lemon wedges and Greek-style oven fries.
- Try using pita bread for a twist on the classic burger bun.
