Ground Beef and Orzo:

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup uncooked orzo
- 2 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup baby spinach (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the Olive Oil: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook Ground Beef: Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5–6 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Prepare Onion and Spices: Add diced onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; cook until fragrant.
- Add Orzo and Broth: Stir in uncooked orzo, beef broth, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 10–12 minutes until orzo is tender.
- Finish the Dish: Stir in spinach (if using) and Parmesan cheese. Cook until spinach wilts and cheese melts. Garnish with parsley before serving.
