Soup Mixture:
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Prepare Soup Mixture: Whisk together cream of mushroom soup and milk.
- Layer Ingredients: Layer potatoes, beef, soup mixture, seasonings in the baking dish.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes. Remove foil, add cheese, and bake for additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
- Serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
