  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Garnish:

  • Fresh basil or parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Shape into meatballs.
  2. Cook the Meatballs: Brown meatballs in olive oil, then set aside.
