Description

These Half & Half Pull-Apart Rolls are fluffy and buttery, perfect for any meal. Made with a combination of whole milk and half & half, these rolls are rich and delicious.

For the Rolls:

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup warm whole milk (110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup half & half
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Mix the Dough: Combine flour and salt in a large bowl. Add melted butter, half & half, egg, and yeast mixture. Mix into a soft dough.
  3. Knead and Rise: Knead the dough until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Shape and Rise Again: Divide dough, shape into balls, and arrange in a pan. Let rise for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Bake: Preheat oven, brush rolls with butter, and bake until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Brush with more butter and serve warm.
