- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

- In a small saucepan, combine almond milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Whisk well to blend the spices.
- Heat over medium heat until steaming hot but not boiling, about 5–7 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Remove from heat and add honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract if using. Whisk again until frothy.
- Pour into mugs and serve warm.
Notes
- Black pepper helps increase the absorption of curcumin, the active compound in turmeric.
