Description

This Healthy Green Goddess Dressing is a creamy and flavorful dressing made with Greek yogurt, avocado, and fresh herbs. It’s perfect for salads, as a dip, or to drizzle over your favorite dishes.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1/2 avocado (peeled and pitted)

Herbs:

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon leaves (or substitute with extra parsley)

Seasonings:

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 12 tablespoons water (as needed to thin)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor or blender, combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, avocado, parsley, basil, chives, tarragon, lemon juice, garlic, and Dijon mustard. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Adjust Consistency: Add water gradually until desired consistency is reached. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Chill: Transfer the dressing to a jar or container, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
