Choux Pastry:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs

Whipped Cream Filling:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • extra powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make Choux Pastry: In a saucepan, boil water, butter, and salt. Remove from heat, add flour, and mix until a ball forms. Cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  3. Pipe and Bake: Pipe mounds of dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Prepare Filling: Whip cream, sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  5. Assemble: Cut puffs, fill with whipped cream, and dust with powdered sugar.
