  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup rainbow jimmies (sprinkles)

Frosting:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • More rainbow sprinkles for decorating

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cake pans.
  2. Mix Butter and Sugar: Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add egg whites and vanilla.
  3. Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in one bowl, and milk and sour cream in another. Alternate adding them to the butter mixture.
