Scale
Carrots
- 1 1/2 pounds carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
Glaze
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Carrots: Peel and cut the carrots into sticks to ensure even roasting and tenderness.
- Preheat and Mix Glaze: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, mixing well to create the glaze.
- Coat the Carrots: Toss the carrot sticks in the prepared glaze until they are evenly coated, which helps infuse flavor and ensure caramelization.
- Roast the Carrots: Spread the coated carrots in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast them in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through to promote even cooking. Roast until the carrots are tender and caramelized.
- Serve: Transfer the roasted carrots to a serving dish, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve hot for best flavor.
